Ingredients
Florets of 1 broccoli
3 bacon rashers
Grated cheese (as much as you like)
1 tub of creme fraiche
A load of pasta (as much as you think)
1 tsp black pepper
Method
Put a large pan of salted water on to boil.
Cut the bacon into small cubes, can be easier to use scissors. Fry these in a frying pan until cooked.
Once the water is boiled chuck in your pasta and keep checking it. Just before the pasta is nearly ready add the broccoli. If you like your broccoli well done you can add it earlier.
Once thats all cooked drain it and return it to the pan, but not over heat. Then add the cheese, creme fraiche, bacon and black pepper.
Stir this all in together until the pasta and broccoli is coated and serve!
Ingredients
Pasta (i usually use spaghetti but whatever will do)
Bacon, chopped into small pieces
Onion
Garlic (optional)
Mixed herbs or whatever herbs you have (like basil, rosemary, sage, just something to add flavor)
Can of chopped tomatoes (or pasta sauce but i prefer this)
Method
Get the pasta cooking
chop up the onion, garlic and bacon cook it in a pan until satisfactory (you can add the herbs now or when you put the tomatoes in, it doesn't really matter)
stick the can of tomatoes in the pan with the bacon and stuff, let it simmer for a bit.
Drain pasta and all that jazz, plate, and enjoy.
Optional addition of cheese because it makes everything better.
I make this all the time and it is so easy and tastes delicious.
Ingredients
- 2 italian stock cubes
- 1/2 a tin of tomatoes, or the whole tin depending on how many you make it for, or if you're going to make a big batch and freeze the rest.
- garlic
- onion, either red or white
-bacon, as much as you would like to use
- cheese
- pasta
- oil
- salt and pepper
Method
Firstly start to cook the pasta so that it's ready for the bake
secondly fry the bacon in some oil in a frying pan, add the onion and garlic once the bacon is cooked and cook the onion down a little.
When these ingredients are cooked, put the tinned tomatoes in, and then crumble the italian stock cubes into the sauce and mix well to make sure it's distributed evenly throughout the sauce.
When the tomato sauce is very hot and the pasta is cooked, drain the pasta, add the sauce to the saucepan and mix together, and then put it into a oven proof dish, grate the cheese on top, as much as you'd like of course and cook in the oven for about 20 minutes at 180c until nice and crispy and brown on top!
